Dear Friends,
I would like to invite you to visit our booth (1765) at the
upcoming 2009 Society for Neruoscience conference to be held October 17-21 at the McCormick Place in
Chicago. It will be a great
opportunity to meet you in person and discuss your research needs as well as follow-up on email discussions.
This year we will be introducing several new products, some of
which have been directly requested by you, our friends and users. The highlights are:
|
Surface & in vitro Grid Array
Our new ECoG arrays
are made from a flexible polymer material and are designed for both recording and
stimulation. These devices function for either acute or chronic implants as well as for in vitro dish experiments.
|
Strengthened Probe
We now offer a strengthened probe that
is capable of penetrating dura and reaching deep structures. Primate-friendly probe designs are now available in addition to all of our existing
flexible package configurations.
|
We are excited to introduce new probe packages
that combine NeuroNexus silicon probe with ultra flexible yet robust
polymer cables.
The increased robustness reduces the chance of breakage during
insertion and the improved flexibility may reduce tethering forces on
the implanted probe. Additionally, we offer a turnkey
microdrive system that allows electrodes to be moved during the course of a
chronic experiment.
|
niPOD - The NeuroNexus Instrumentation POD is an in-house developed
system tailored for precise automated probe diagnostics,
site optimization and maintenance. Smart software functions are provided for impedance
characterization, impedance matching, probe activation and probe cleaning.
|
Next Generation Probe Technologies
Advanced package options are now available that combine NeuroNexus probes
with an optical sensor for optogeneric research as well as microfluidic capability for drug discover research!
|
Finally, let us be your base for this year's meeting. Send us your poster information and we
will be happy to direct people your way.
We are excited about introducing our new products and look forward to
seeing you at our booth and discussing your needs and any questions you might
have.
Kind regards,
Kc Kong Director, Research Products NeuroNexus Technologies, Inc.

Send us your poster information
We are compiling a list of user posters!
Please provide us with your poster name and number. This will provide new and existing
NeuroNexus probe users the opportunity to visit your poster to see how you are
using the probes, and may provide you with new contacts in your own field of
research.
